Annual Member Meeting, Clambake, & Clayshoot 2026
Join us for a day of camaraderie, competition, and clay shooting at the Hill ‘N Dale Club on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. This exclusive access to Hill ‘n Dale Club has been provided by our sponsor, First Financial Bank.
First Financial Bank will provide safety instruction and guidance, welcoming both seasoned shooters and those new to the sport!
Whether you’re a seasoned shooter or trying clay shooting for the first time, trained instructors will be on-site to provide safety guidance, shooting tips, and one-on-one assistance. Participants of all experience levels are welcome and encouraged to join the fun!
Clay Shoot Options: 50 or 100 Targets
(Limit of 32 people. We will sell out so register today to reserve your spot!)
You get a choice of 50 or 100 Targets on the Woods Course!
- 100 Targets: 3 hours of shooting
- 50 Targets: 2 hours of shooting
All participants will be grouped into teams of four, with a cart and 1 gun rental per group, shells, all safety equipment (ear and eye protection), and a safety instructor. No other purchases are required (except if you want to buy cigars).
Each group will receive 1 free gun rental. Should you like to bring your own firearm, please make sure it is a pump, semi-auto, or over/under shotgun.
All shooters will also receive the clambake dinner and free drinks immediately after shooting. Drinks include beer and Gene Whaley’s famous Bourbon Punch, which was a huge hit last year!
Beat the Joe: Station sponsored by Akron Steel Treating. If you beat Joe Powell’s score, you’ll not only get bragging rights, but you will also win a prize!

Schedule:
12pm – Clay Shoot Registration
12:30pm – Safety Training followed by Shoot
100 Targets (approx 3 hours)
50 Targets (approx 1.5 hours)
3:30pm – Shooting Ends for both
4pm – 6:30pm – Clambake Dinner & Drinks
Dinner Menu: Clambake Dinner Includes: Seasoned chicken quarters, steamed clams, chowder, corn on the cob, rosemary red skin potatoes, cinnamon chipotle roasted sweet potatoes, creamy coleslaw, corn muffins & cookies.
Cigars: Our friends from Cigars a la Cart will be on site selling cigars (individual and variety packs) and cigar accessories.
